This video was taken by the Connecticut National Guard Public Affairs Office, and shows members of the guard laying out beds and constructing dividers inside Western Connecticut University’s O’Neill Center.

According to Danbury’s News-Times, the facility will be used to treat COVID-19 patients who cannot be housed in Danbury Hospital. “We will be building out the O’Neill Center in the next week as we expect a surge to take place beginning in the third week of April,” Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton said.

On Thursday, Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont reported that at least 3,824 people in the state had been infected with COVID-19, and at least 112 had died from complications of the virus.
