Election 2020: Police and Protesters Scuffle at Black Lives Matter Plaza

Date: 2020-11-04 06:42:22

Police and protesters scuffled on Washington, D.C.’s BLM Plaza Tuesday evening as they waited for results of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

Several hundred protesters had carried signs, chanted and danced to music as they waited for the vote tally to be counted.

Police officers used bicycles to block some protesters.

President Donald Trump is spending election night just a block away from the protesters in the White House. He’s watching votes come in in the residence with a few close aides.
